About the Builder
Since 1957, Craig Builders has been a fixture in the Charlottesville area’s residential construction industry. You won’t get a poor response if you ask someone who has lived here for a few years about their reputation, and it’s clear to see why: they look after their clientele even after the closing day. The NextGen energy efficiency effort aspires to develop healthy, energy-efficient dwellings out of high-quality, long-lasting materials, in keeping with that history. Their technique is based on the Home Energy Rating System (HERS), a nationally recognized system for measuring home efficiency, and their homes are typically 40% more efficient than a typical new home.
