About the Builder
Since 2002, America’s Builder, D.R. Horton, Inc., has been the largest homebuilder in the United States by volume. D.R. Horton was founded in 1978 in Fort Worth, Texas, and has been building in Utah since 1992. The company now operates in 90 markets throughout 29 states. D.R. Horton is currently building single-family houses in Desert Color in northern and southern Utah.
