About Me
Edward’s first years were spent in NW Oklahoma around wheat fields and cattle operations. His family moved to Tyler, TX in the early 70’s due to the oil and gas market and his father’s profession as a Professional Petroleum Landman. Edward has always been gifted mechanically and after graduating high school Edward took jobs in welding and hands on jobs in the oil and gas industry before deciding that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and father and pursued his career as a Professional Petroleum Landman. Edward has spent the past 26 years in this industry and has managed a number of large crews in clearing the land titles for major Exploration & Production companies to form units and drill wells in several states. Edward’s wife, Ginger, entered the real estate business a few years ago and Edward found that he enjoyed accompanying Ginger on showings and helping with contracts, property descriptions, platting her large land listings and verifying the ownership of the mineral estate of land sales or purchases. This led Edward to decide to get his real estate license in 2021. With his knowledge and expertise as a Landman, Edward is especially equipped in preparing contracts, has excellent negotiation skills and a wealth of knowledge concerning titles to land surface, mineral and leasehold estates. Together with Edward’s background as a Landman, and Ginger’s background in interior design and contractor management before starting her career in real estate, the Brawners are a great team working hard to help their clients achieve the results that they desire whether buying or selling.
