About Me

Janina Ivester is a Realtor, educator and mother. She prides herself in having integrity and hard working ethics in every step of your real estate transaction. She has been a long term resident and has had a successful career in the real estate industry for over 30 years in the Oakland area. She is grateful to have been a teacher in Oakland Unified School District for over 15 years and has raised her 3 children here; this has allowed her to build many treasured relationships in the community.
Her educational background, market knowledge and years of expertise guides her commitment to educating her clients and empowering them with a positive productive approach.
Janina is always on the job, staying current with the market but can often be found as roadie and mom-ager at her daughter’s concerts or cheerleading (pom-pom’s and all) at her son’s basketball games. She volunteers and co-founded The FAM Oakland non profit a safe space for the arts . Her experience, foresight and passion combined with her love of real estate makes her excited to provide her services representing buyers and sellers.
