Mark grew up in rural northern Illinois and as a teen was part of the great Southern Migration, arriving in the Houston area with his family in 1977. He graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and started his dream job with a NASA contractor, then spent the next 25 years in various roles and locations throughout Corporate America. During that time, he bought, renovated, and sold three homes, with the aid of shows like “This Old House,” discovering that he was a very skillful DIYer and a lover of all things “home.”
In 2014 Mark decided to turn that passion into his vocation, channeling it through the real estate industry as an independent agent. Easy, right? Well, not exactly, but with the help of some experienced and equally passionate trainers and coaches he found his way into a new and successful career, with sales ranking in the top 5% of all agents.
