About Me

Hi, I am Torri. I am a REALTOR ® and instructor in Louisiana. I own the Sweet Legacy Group and Mrs. Byrd Classroom. My purpose for pioneering both businesses is simple: to serve, to inspire, and to educate.

Before taking the leap of faith into full-time real estate, I taught Chemistry & Biology 2. I loved the classroom, and had Covid-19 never surfaced, that is exactly where I would be.

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching, and a Master of Educational Leadership Degree. So how did I end up selling real estate? Easy…my grandfather. I wanted to continue his legacy. When he decided to retire in 2019 after owning his own brokerage since 1961, I decided to get my real estate license.

Since receiving my license, I am recognized as a High Producer in the local association and I serve on the Professional Development Committee. I am a member of the Two Million Dollar Club at Keller Williams, in the top 25%, and a Capper in the office. I also hold a Louisiana Pre-Licensing Instructor Certification and a Vendor’s License. This year, I look forward to doubling my business and opening a real estate school for Central Louisiana.

Cenla is the only home I know. In April 2017, I married my high school sweetheart, Elijah. He currently serves in the United States Air Force. We have two beautiful, spunky, and courageous little girls named Naiomi and Gisselle. God is my foundation and I humbly acknowledge that His guidance has brought the success I have achieved.
