Fifth Third Bank is a bank with its headquarters at Fifth Third Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Fifth Third Bancorp, a diversified bank holding corporation, owns it as a subsidiary. It has 1,136 branches and 2,469 automated teller machines throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, making it one of the largest consumer banks in the Midwest. Fifth Third Bank is based in the state of Ohio. It operated on a state charter until late 2019 when it was granted a national charter.
